Ask Annie: Things Getting Real

0

Dear Annie,

I have been part of several online groups during the pandemic and I have become something of a “big deal” giving advice and guidance about BDSM.  Now that vaccines are coming, I realize I am actually going to have to start doing the things I have been talking about.

I have no experience at all and I am terrified of people finding out my secret.  Help!

Faking It in Frisco

Dear Faking It,

As someone who gives advice all the time, I can sympathize with your situation.  The most important thing you can do is learn the names of the things you do and then use them often and loudly.

It helps if you can name drop too.  Before you do something, make sure you claim that you learned it personally from some famous BDSM person and then if there are any questions or complaints, blame them.

One of the most important things you can do is avoid accountability.  Just remember that nothing is ever your fault and if things go wrong there is always someone else to blame.
