When Master Arnold Peters, a 39 year old Dominant, entered his local BDSM dungeon for the first time, he was shocked by the response he received from the local community.

“Before I could play, I had to tell them what safeword I used. So I told them. It was ‘snickerdoodle,” told The Daily Flogger, “its not something likely to come up during play and it is hard to mistake for anything else. I thought, and still think, it is a good safeword.”

Mistress Kat, the DM who first approached Peters disagreed. “It is just ludicrous. We are a serious BDSM dungeon and we require a serious safeword. Red always works, but if you want be daring and unconventional, you go with fruit names. Pineapple or tangerine, for example. No real dominant uses a stupid candy or ice cream flavor.”

Most at the dungeon were quick to agree. Calling it “stupid,” “silly” and “not very BDSMy.”

Angel in Chains, a 19 year old submissive thought it sounded “cute,” but also agreed it didn’t have a very serious tone to it.

“When I am getting my ass beat raw, I don’t want to be thinking about candy and delicious flavors. I’d much rather have a serious safeword.”

Peters says he is not likely to return after his scene was repeatedly interrupted by hecklers.

Master Kevin, the owner of the dungeon said Peters has “no one but himself to blame. You use a stupid safeword, you pay the price.”
