Man Expelled from Community for Not Liking Bondage

PETUNIA, WISCONSIN

By a vote of 4-1, Master David Gunn, 42, was expelled from the local BDSM community for “failing to live up to the responsibilities of the lifestyle.”

The conflict came to head when Gunn was overheard negotiating a scene at a local dungeon and told his partner, “I don’t do bondage.”

Council elders met to decided if Gunn would be permitted to continue activities in the BDSM Lifestyle.

According to Rance Teller, 63, head of the Council, “the B in BDSM stands for bondage.  No one has ever disputed that.  I don’t see how you can be part of what we do without the B.  It just doesn’t make sense.”

Yuki Hartnett, a 32 year old submissive, and newest member of the Council was the lone voice of dissent.  “I don’t think you have to do all of the letters.  If you do even one I think that should be enough.  The older members see it differently though, they are more invested in the term than I am.”

For his part Gunn doesn’t plan to change how he plays or who he plays with.  “I guess I’ll just play at home or maybe find a new dungeon.  I’m just not really a bondage guy.  I go more for spanking and the Master/slave dynamic.  They do have a point though.  B is the first letter, so maybe I am not BDSM after all.”

  1. WTH? What happened to ‘my kink is not your kink? ‘ what happens if a sub now tries to set a hard limit because they have a phobia about being tied up? Yes – its BDSM.. I don’t ever remember anybody telling me that it had to be all or nothing! I;m not a masochist: does that mean I won’t be recognised as a submissive? I;m not a sadist either, so does that rule me out too?

I was always of the understanding that the community was accepting of all flavours… I am hugely grateful that I am not connected to that part of it
