Leaked memos from Disney’s Touchstone Pictures division reveals plans to release a remake of the Cinderella story told from a “50 Shades of Grey” point of view, featuring a Prince with “tastes that are very singular” and wicked step sisters that participate in activities that range from whipping and torture to “water sports” and “that cool thing that the Japanese do with rope.”
While Disney has no official comment on the plans for the film, insiders say it is unlikely to happen.
The memo pairs George Clooney with actress Amanda Seyfried in the lead roles of Prince Charming and Cinderella, with a long list of Hollywood A-listers in contention for the wicked step sister roles.
